Goodwill Finds Throughout the Summer.

So I've been lacking motivation to take pictures of things as I've been getting them.. so I decided to do it today! Prepare for a long post!

I got this cheese dome from goodwill awhile back, and painted it black and found these silver sparkly xmas balls to put in there for lack of anything else better right now.


Some bottles I got from goodwill now sit on my windowsill, i love the way they look when light is going through them.


next three are pictures of a corner cabinet my mom gave me, and everything on it aside from the "HOME" piece was from her also.. I got the HOME thing from goodwill.






A small silver tray I got from GW, I believe this was only .79 cents.. I couldn't wait to put this out but am not sure I like what I have on it... The cloche is from GW also, less than a dollar and more of the corks, I got like 6 bags of them.


The dish is from GW and was only .99 cents, the potpourri I had and I threw in some crystaled apples I had under the counter until I can find something better to put in there.


Bistro sign from GW, cloche, red glitter xmas balls and utensil jar all from Goodwill, I was super excited about that utensil jar ive been looking all over for one!


Bread box came from my mom since she never used it anymore and it fits PERFECTLY in this little space.. on top is a jar i got from GW awhile back, plate, stand and cat are all from GW too.


Heart wreath thing, its small but really cute.. I just dont know where to put it yet.



two Vases, idk what ill put in them yet but they were only .50 cents each.. hurricane glass thing, I cant wait to use this for fall and winter I have plans for this.. they always have like 30 of them everytime I go to GW but ive only ever bought two.. theyre so big I have no idea what id do with more than that!... the basket, seashells and there are the rest of the corks! all from GW waiting to find a home in my house somewhere...


Tray from GW for only .50 cents.. I have no idea what to do with it yet but I KNOW I want to paint it... I dont know if I want to make it into a chalkboard, or if i want to paint it white or black and use it as a decoration around with stuff on it.


Finally i've been finding little jars.. ive never been able to find any, big or small... I found this one for only .49 cents and added some of the seashells I had from before in it... I'll probably add something else as I find something mini to put in there!


Birdhouse was a purchase a long time ago, like back in Jan. I finally got to put it out though, and used some fake grass in there and a patroitic start I had... I need something else to do with this though, it just seems lacking to me but itll do for now!

next three pictures are of baskets I got from GW. I am really happy with the first one.. It was a $5 basket for only .99 cents! It says something autumn on it and im not sure I like the colors, so ill probably, most likely, paint it.. I have no idea what color yet or what I want to do with it...
the second one is a super cute little brown tin/thing... It has such gorgeous amazing details on it I couldnt get over it, and it has the cutest little handles on the side! I dont know what to put in this one yet or where to put it but I knew I had to have it.. I found a green on like this one later, but didnt pick it up, I also found a really big long one like this one but didnt get that one either. I should have though.
and the third one is a little wooden fence/box/thing. haha I dont know where to put it or what to put in it yet, but I will def. paint it.. probably white and distress it a little...

Goodwill finds Feb.

I got quite a few things over my last few trips to Good will, including a bunch of glass jars, vases, plates, etc etc. I didn't take pictures of them because they're not that exciting, and my camera was dying..

Bunny spoon rest or soap container, there are two so i will put one in the bathroom & one in the kitchen.

Cute spring wreath, only $3.

Little wagon, looks more fall-ish to me but i can use it for easter, or spray paint it pastel for spring then back to orange for fall.

I saw the boy bunny and thought he was ugly at first, then on my second walk through i stuck him in my basket, at the check out line I saw the girl to go with him and had to have them, they were only .29 a piece too I believe, kinda flimsy the ears are breaking off but oh well.

I thought this was WAY too cute to pass up.

This looks 100 times better in person, it was $3 so I wasnt sure if i wanted it at first, but its just so different and very heavy so I ended up getting it.

I fell in love with this at first sight.. I dont know what to put in it, it has separated compartments in it maybe for wine? either way I looked at the price tag and it was $1.99! I thought for sure it would be at least $5-7, I just had had had to have it. maybe ill take out the separator and use it for storage for something or other

More Winter Finds

I went to one of the local Goodwills on my way to Wal-Mart.. I told myself I wouldn't but I couldn't help it and i ended up really glad that I did!
I got all of this, plus two books and a really nifty fake plant (that is still in my car ill get a picture later) for $27.. They also had two different types of birdhouses, I had them both in my cart but put them back, if they're there when i go back i will get them but not this time.

A duck, bird and mouse, i love the mouse and i kinda want to paint him but im not sure.. and the bird I can put with my newly acquired birdhouse!

Two gold heart candles, a red tall and gold short pillar candle, both with really awesome designs on them, and a bag of silver sparkly balls i can use just about year round!

Although really tiny, I thought it was really cute!

$1 red shimmery plate, it says its from Things Remembered on the back so it couldn't have been cheap originally when someone got it, I can use it for Valentines, Christmas and 4th of July, then use it in my bedroom the rest of the year!

I really liked the vase this was in and thought it was worth $3 all day. I have purple flowers on top of my bookshelf and even though i don't much care for purple i thought the flowers were cute too, and whenever i can find something to go into the vase i can always take the flowers out and save them for something else!

As I was checking out I looked behind the cashier on the counter and saw this. I knew it was one of the 4 or 5 left that I wanted, and I had it on my list for my boyfriend to get me for a Valentines/Anniversary present. I thought about telling him to go back and get it for me on Sat or Sun, but it just came in earlier today, and I knew somebody would snatch it up way before he would get there. I asked her how much and she said $7.99, really it would be over $30 in the store so how could I pass it up! I'll just give it to him to give to me come our anniversary! and then he wont even have to do any shopping and i'll feel good that I saved some money on it!

Goodwill Finds 1.25.10

I had $8 in my wallet and told myself I wouldnt put anything on my card but I wanted to check it out, see what all there was left from the weekend, or new put out.
I spent $6 and got a few things...

This was sitting out of its box and I thought it was just the cutest, I haven't tried lighting it up yet so I have no idea what it looks like lit up but its adorable as is, and I like that she has kitties! and it was only $2.99

I love gel clings for my mirrors and windows, im obsessed, i have tons for every holiday. I usually get them at walmart since thats the only place aside from Target I ever see them but I was excited to come across these, AND they were only .50 cents!

Is he not the cutest???!!! He has an indent on his stomach.. makes me think there was a second part to this like a second bunny or something, but I couldn't leave him sit there pushed to the back of the shelf, he's just so unique looking! and .99 cents!

This adorable snowman is a candleholder, but he'll probably just end up as another decoration on the shelves, I couldn't pass up this little guy either! AND he was only .29 cents!!!

I saw these two candle holders over the weekend, at .49 cents a piece, I saw everyones ideas of getting these and the tall vases and making apothecary jars so I had to go back for them, and sure enough.. there they were waiting for me! And then I saw this plain wooden heart sitting there.. .59 cents I was hoping it would've been cheaper but Ive been looking for plain wooden shapes so that I could either paint or paper them and put them around and this is perfect, and its a nice hunk of wood too!

I also got two books and a book of glitter scrapbook paper for $10 at Ollies (two books $4 each and the paper was $2) I figure I can use the paper with my scrapbook and for candles, kill two birds with one stone! and they're pretty pastel colors so that I can use them for my spring candles

My Goodwill finds and valentines decorating!

I spent a few hours out today and went to two out of the 4 of our local Goodwills..
I only spent $28 and came out with a TON of cute stuff, along with a scrub top and three super awesome bath towels that I didn't take pictures of. I also got four bags of gold christmas beads ill put into a jar or vase whenever the need to use gold arises.. I also got 3 big soup bowls which I needed more of, and two small heavy bowls for my rats cage since they tip over everything else I put in there... -.-

I've been looking for one of these EVERYwhere. I finally found one! it was only 1.99, its kinda small but oh well!

This star is filled with 13 different kinds of beans to make a soup, i dont like the beans, nor do i plan on making the soup but i love the jar ill probably fill it with small pebbles or glass beads or something later on. .99 cents
