New stuff

I'm back with a random post! :) I have a bunch of pictures to upload from my camera and phone, I have just been procrastinating.
I have been taking pictures while out and about of things that I want to put on my "Christmas List" I have some of them uploaded, others are still in waiting.

To start you off.. Here's a picture of my incredibly silly, bad, and lazy boy - Ace.  He sits and sleeps in the weirdest positions. Everytime I look at him I am almost guaranteed a laugh. I couldn't help but take millions of pictures of him on the couch like this, and he was totally hammin' it up for me.

I just had my best friends bridal shower on the 5th. (I am the maid of honor). I hate looking at pictures of myself, I look so frumpy.. especially beside her!

Had to do some bathroom shots, haa. I just really liked this one.

A couple of my newest candle purchases.. Yes, I also have a wax addiction.. I just can't help myself. :(

I have a birdhouse addiction also. It's bad. I bought the house on the left, but I am going back for the one on the right.. I should've just got them both at the same time. Aren't they just adorable??!!

Found these at The Shoe Dept.. I think I want them for Christmas. I've been wanting cowboy boots.. and I gotta love my camo.. why not put them together?! lol

These are the comfiest shoes that I tried on, I want these for Christmas.. or an early Christmas present.

Bon-Ton snowman figurine find.. a bit more expensive (ok.. a lot) than I would pay since I usually buy this stuff at Goodwill.. but it's just so cute!!!

Every year I get a new bedding set for Christmas.. I have been wanting something plaid and was looking at ones online, but I came across this Rough Hewn set at Bon Ton on sale. It has that fuzzy red lining on the other side, it is so soft, and comfy, and would go perfectly with our bedroom set. I think this is going on my list for this year.

A little touch of fall ...

So I have been lacking in the blog post category lately.. Mainly because I have been lacking all motivation just in general. I usually have my decorating ALL done by now but I am still getting things put up, I still have so much Halloween stuff to get up yet. I just wanted to get some pictures up of some things around my house!

My new light up witch hat!! I got it at TJ Maxx the other day and I just adore it!
The kitty plate I got at one of the country craft stores at the mall, its my up-all-year decoration but it ties in great for Halloween.. I threw some gourds and pumpkins up there after I took the picture.

My new obsession... GARDEN FLAGS!! I LOVE them! I have always wanted to buy myself a stake to get started but never did, but i finally used my 40% off Michaels coupon to get myself one and i've been watching 32976239062376902 flags on eBay since then.. this is my first one and i LOVE it! I can't wait to switch them out for the seasons and holidays!!

My little corner tree all decked out for halloween.. the lights are actually "candy corn" lights, and the bow I got for $1 at Joann Fabrics. I wasn't going to put a bow on but I loved it in the store and figured I can use it on the tree this year and maybe a wreath in the future!


Joann's/Target finds. My bow, a dish towel that I am in LOVE with. I love primative/country/americana stuff.. and $1 socks from Target! The bones glow in the dark, i am obsessed with making them glow and wiggling my feet around and watching them. I feel like such a little kid!

So I decided to run out today to pick up a few things and use up some coupons.. I was a bit disappointed that I forgot my Special K coupons at home for my CVS trip, and for Walmart they were all out of the purina one beyond cat food and I couldn't find the $.97 icy hot for my coupons :( Ill have to keep checking back.

Newest buys!

So I made two trips to my two local Goodwills this week.. and Walmart.. and Ross.. and still more stores coming up, but I wanted to post now before it got TOO long.
Here are my finds:


Walmart clearance shirt $3. Reg: $14! This picture doesn't do it justice since it's black, but it's really adorable on and will be great when I need to dress up or go for an interview or something.
Ross: $7.. a bit higher than I wanted to spend but again, the picture doesn't do it justice. This shirt looks SO cute on, I've tried so many of these shirts on and they never look good on me, they make me look frumpy or pregnant but this one actually looks awesome! I can't wait to wear it somewhere with a bright colored tank top underneath.
My second walmart clearance find $3, reg $14, its a silky material, so soft, so nice on.
Goodwill tshirt, I loved the colors and its a nice lounge around the house shirt.
Goodwill shirt. I found this on the "don't want" rack outside of the fitting rooms and was surprised at how cute I thought it was and how cute it actually looked on me. It has an opening in the back, not a big one though (you can see it in the picture). This will be nice to wear out and when we go to Florida. I cant wait to wear it.
Ross clearance $5. zip up hoodie. It's lightweight but super soft inside, it will be nice to wear over a plain tshirt in the fall. There was a SUPERRRRRR (and i mean super) fuzzy one for $24 that I debated getting, but I put it back.. I have a ton of fuzzy sweatshirts i really dont need another. Maybe if it was $10 I would've got it.
Goodwill long sleeved shirt from the Loft. Its a baby blue color and soooffftttt.

3 Christmas Ornaments. the cat Hallmark Keepsake one was $.99, the snowman was $.69 and the santa was $.99, the santa still has a tag on it saying it was $8.99 at Kohls. I normally dont like santas but I thought he was really cute, and the details on both the santa and snowman are just REALLY well done. I can't wait for christmas!!

For use with my christmas village.. I am slowly growing my village, and I found this with all of the pieces still included and all packaged up. The fake snow is even still all together.. I dont even think it was ever used, honestly!



I also got a bath towel and a rug at Ross both for $3 but I already had them out/put away and forgot to get pictures of them.

My first White Wednesday!!

Hello everyone! I am linking up to my very first White Wednesday!!

Now I have never participated in a White Wednesday previously because I just do not have that much white in our home, unfortunately. Hubby really doesn't like white, and most of our furniture is wood or black. I plan on redoing a couple of pieces though, and really want to do a dark stain on top and white (or possibly gray) on the bottom.

I went around and took pictures of a few of the white knick knacks I have scattered around.. We recently did a big deep clean because we had someone come to look at our house so there isn't as much out as there was... but here are a few things!

First is the top of one of my book shelves ... I had to move the picture over so you could see the white cat better, and ignore the hubby's model plane -.- After Easter I took everything down and never really did re-decorate anything, I just kind of threw things around and didn't do much with anything.

12 more days!

Until I am 24.
I may seem excited about this because of the exclamation point you see in my title.. but in reality, I am not. It's not so much the "getting older" part.. it's just that I never actually do any celebrating of my birthday. Every year my fiance and I will go out to eat and go to the movies, or to the zoo, or wherever else I want to go. I don't go out to bars or clubs or anything.. fun...

However, this year even though I have absolutely nothing planned.. I do have a list of things that I want for my birthday, and this rarely ever happens.. I NEVER know what I want!!

First of all, I'm getting another cat. We're going to go to the shelters in the area and try to find the purrfect match. I defiantly want an older/adult cat, one who has been at the shelter for quite some time. I am SUPER excited about this.

There is a Tim Magraw, Luke Bryan and The Band Perry concert at the end of this month that I REALLY want to go to. I didn't get tickets yet as I want to keep checking Craigs List to see if anybody has anything better than Lawn seats come up, if not I will get them off line.. or maybe have my mom get them for me.
There is another concert that I want to go to but its not until September.. but I think those concert tickets would be a good idea, thats less out of pocket money for me to have to spend.. or she can give me money to put towards them.. either way.



We only have 3 more months until Florida too, This is am very excited about. I am still not a fan of roller coasters, but I just can't wait to be away from here and just be able to relax, wake up and not have to go to work. What would be awesome would be being able to find a job while down there and NOT coming back to PA. HAA! I really don't want to *live* in Florida though, WAY too hot for me. But it would defiantly be nice to not have to come home... i'd just have my mom pack up our stuff .. and animals.. and bring or fly them all down to us hahahaha. (hey, a girl can dream right?!?!)


I need to get projects finished up too. I have a ton of little odds and ends projects that I really want to do, as well as re-doing the entry table.. It feels weird doing it since its something my dad made, but it would SO nice when it was done!
